Brown County Museum of History
Thursday-Friday 10am-2pm and Saturday 10am-4pm
The Brown County of Museum of History, Inc., exists to preserve the tangible evidence of our heritage and to educate the public through exhibits and interpretive programs. The main building at 209 North Broadway houses displays—many interactive—relevant to Brown Country from prehistory to today. The museum also maintains and provides tours of the four-story Brown Country Jail, built in 1903 and located across the street from the main building.
