About Us
The mission of Good Samaritan Ministries is to proclaim the Gospel in both word and deed to all people in need in Brown County, Texas. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit Christian mission whose purpose is to help our neighbors living in poverty and to give to others the opportunity to share in that through the giving of their time, talent and resources. Good Samaritan Ministries operates seven Hunger ministries: Food Pantry, Food for Thought, Homeless Food boxes, Homebound Program, Deer Project, Pig Project and the Mobile Food Pantry. We also offer limited financial assistance and clothing vouchers for items at our Resale Store. We take donations of household and clothing items for the purpose of reselling them in our Resale store where all the proceeds go back into the ministry.
